Two local Drag Icons mount solo shows in a Double Feature Presentation: The Established Shanda Leer: For One Night Only... Again! & Dust Cwaine: Commercially Dragged
On May 3rd, Local Drag Artists, The Established Shanda Leer, and Dust Cwaine will be presenting their one person shows alongside each other in a double feature event. Both presenting 45 mins of material that they have gathered from their collectively almost 13 years as drag artists in Vancouver’s notable and world class Drag scene.
Having both been Producers, Hosts and Performers in over 500 local and national shows, it was only a matter of time before they put their creative genius to the test by leveraging their multidisciplinary skills to work, self producing not one, but two iconic one person drag shows. Shanda Leer and Dust are ready to dazzle and delight in an evening filled with drag family, stories, comedy, music, dancing, and general camp.
As figureheads in the Vancouver Drag scene their work has been noted in Vice Magazine, Just For Laughs, RANGE Magazine, Beatroute, CiTR and Disorder, SAD Mag, Loose Lips Magazine, The Jann Arden Podcast, CBC Gem, Exclaim! and Global News.

In 2020, the night before global lock down, Dust Cwaine was hosting their last Commercial Drag, As the before time faded into memory a new and exciting endeavor began, the journey into themselves. In this 45 min show, Dust ruminates on Love, Loss, and being a bitch (and being sorry about it) Having emerged in 2022 as musician and opening for acts such as Hotel Mira and Young Friend, Dust brings their personal and intimate revelations to the stage in a show that is sure dazzle and delight, with music, storytelling and snacks. boots.

In 2016 at an abandoned cabaret in Vancouver's West End, The Established, Shanda Leer, gave a staggering one-night performance of comedy, song, story, and triumph. Then she disappeared. On May 8, for one night only (again), Shanda returns to the stage to answer the questions, "Where? Why? How? and What next," through the mediums of song, comedy, PowerPoint presentation, and dance. Having appeared in film, television, stage, and recently recording an audiobook, The Established, Shanda Leer, promises to deliver a gripping 45 minutes of work ethic and sex appeal.
